It’s not often you can get away with wearing nipple tassels in public. However this is exactly what I will be doing this coming Sunday when I am performing at Madame Jojo’s with my burlesque troupe ‘The Velveteen Showgirls.’ My obsession with burlesque began on my 30th birthday when my best friend bought me a taster course to try out. That was it, I was addicted. So, when I’ m not “Tiffany Wright – journalist”, I am “Fifi La Foo – Burlesque dancer!”
These fabulous tassels were custom made for me by the fantastic Gaby Kennedy. Not only is she a star when it comes to designing tassels in all shapes and sizes (check out her website -she can make them look like ladybirds, cherries, cupcakes and even DUCKS!) but she also makes beautiful burlesque inspired hats!
